Nearest the Pin and Hole-in-One
Nearest the Pin bonus
The tour has always applied the ruling that a HIO claims the Nearest the Pin (if on the appropriate hole) and also the additional added HIO bonus.
Would you prefer to see a change in the rule so that a HIO gets just the HIO bonus and leaves the Nearest the Pin to the closest shot to the pin on the designated hole, not in the cup.
Please add your votes and comments.

I went for the second option but have to admit I don't really have a strong bias either way.

Re: Nearest the Pin bonus
I voted for option 1 (status quo). Can't get any closer to the hole than the bottom of the jar! If you happen to ace the NTP hole, it's just a double bonus.

HIO deserves both in my opinion, just a shame it will never be me.

I've voted the same as Steve but like him I don't mind either.

Re: Nearest the Pin bonus
Since I brought it up in the first place I obviously voted for option 2, but I will not be upset either way it goes.

Re: Nearest the Pin bonus
I went for option 2, not that I am liable ever to get either - I just feel that if there are goodies to be had, they should be spread as widely as possible. As most have said I have no strong feelings on this issue, but feel that if you're given a chance to vote, you should.
