Longest putt

Post  Bill Seiko on Sat Aug 29, 2009 10:49 pm

Do long putts get recorded automatically or do we need to save shot and send it in as I had a 44ft putt in RD 2 at Hazletine and it does not show as longest put on scoreboard???

You need to save the shot - whether it's long putt, long drive, nearest the pin, or a hole in one - and then attach the .SHT file when you send in the .VER file for the round.

I learned the hard way, too! Crying or Very sad

From the rules regards bonus shots......

* TO BE CONSIDERED SAVED SHOT MUST BE MAILED ALONG WITH ROUND SCORE DETAILS

What I usually do is before I play a round, I'll make a quick note of the current bonus shot standings - that way if I happen to hit a good shot on the specific hole, or make a long putt, I'll know whether my shot is better than what's currently posted -- if it is, then I can save just that shot. Good luck!
