HIO... Posting the shot to the forum?
Hi Daz!
I had a hole in one on the 5th in the first round. A very nice 3W off the tee. I saved the shot and put it in a zip file with the hope of posting it here. (I only do this once every 18 months or so and am some what proud of it!
) Anyway, I don't know how to do that...so HELP!!
Cheers,
Fred

Fred,
I wasn't aware of the HIO, as you didn't attach the shot to your email or make mention of it, lol.
Unfortunately the forum hosts (Forumotion) don't allow the attaching of files to forum posts. But, if you mail me the saved shot, I'll load it to my website and I will add a link here for anyone interested to be able to get hold of the shot.
Hoping this 'workaround' will be Ok and I apologise for the lack of adding a file option made available by the forum hosts.

Re: HIO... Posting the shot to the forum?
Hi Daz...
Quick question... When I go to open the file in I'm asked to select a program to open it with, I select Links 2003 and hit ok, then the window that opens is the install wizard for 1.07. I cancel that because it is already installed...Am I missing something here??
Thanks,
Fred

Re: HIO... Posting the shot to the forum?
Fred,
The file extension is .SHT and Windows will not be familiar with what program the file is associated with, hence it asking you.
What you or anyone wanting to view the shot has to do is download the file and save it to the saved Shots folder on your C:\. You can't just open it and view it straight away like you would say with a video clip.
In Win XP the folder is here - C:\Documents and Settings\**Profile Name**\My Documents\Links 2003\Saved Shots\
Obviously Fred as you have already saved the shot in the game, you will already have it in the appropriate place so don't really need to download it again.
