Would you like to see the recently released Carnoustie used on the Offline Tour as the Open Championship 2009 venue?
Offline Tour 2009 - Venue Vote
Well, 2009 rolls on a pace and some good news came about this week for the Links Community.
A version of Carnoustie (and a very good one at that I gather) has arrived on the scene. My question is basically, would the mebers like to see this included in the tour schedule, more than likely as the venue for this seasons Open Championship.
Please vote on the poll and feel free to add your comments.

I didn't actually vote, because not having played either course I thought it would be wrong to.
I don't mind which course we play - it's the conditions I look at!

Re: Offline Tour 2009 - Venue Vote
I have voted to play Carnoustie. I have played the download course and really enjoyed it - negotiating the burns and avoiding Van de Velde wetlands. I enjoyed Errislannan too - but the opportunity to play on a design based on a real course, which is a popular location on the 'Open' rotation is one which I think we should take.

Yes, I've gone along with Carnoustie. The course itself looks pretty good and it's got a good "open" feel about it.
By the way, I can see you've got my goat but the dog ??? Ah, don't tell me - Chinese year of the dog ?
