Offline Tour 2009 - Proposed Course List
Having had just one member put forward some suggestions for venues for next year, I've put together the tentative list of where we will be playing on the tour in 2009.
Details can be found here - http://www.offlinetour.co.uk/Courses.htm
Some selections may not be to everyone's taste, but as there are plenty of tour's out there I feel it's better to offer some alternatives to what other sites may be using, to avoid the classic course overload for those that participate in other tours , such as happens with the Masters, when everyone uses Augusta, lol.
I'm still open to suggestions, bearing in mind I'm retaining the old WLS policy of non-P2P, thus giving everyone a fair chance to play. Other tours I'm sure will fill your P2P desires, lol.
Thanks for popping by.

Cheers Daz,
You have made a nice choice of courses m8.
A number of classics or evergreens if you will, but also some of the new and challenging ones, very good indeed.
Looking forward to another gr8 Offline season here...

A very interesting list Daz.
Especially Crater's Edge and Mossy Oaks as I hadn't heard of either of them
Looking forward to next year (with a lower h'cap)

Venue Change
Decided on a venue change from the upcoming schedule.
'The Players' (02-15Mar09) which was scheduled for Avocet @ Wild Wing will now be played at Wraith Canyon (BETA). Although the course uses 1024x1024 texturing, as we use v1.07 on the Offline Tour, this shouldn't cause any issues for any of the members.

Great schedule change choice Daz. Wraith Canyon is a really nice course to play. Even though it is still listed as a beta it is very close to being in final release condition.

All of the new courses in the schedule give everything a fresher feel. Thanks for all of the effort and work that you have put into the 2009 Offline season Daz, even before a ball is struck in earnest

Re: Offline Tour 2009 - Proposed Course List
Thanks one and all for the support. I think after all these years, a move away from mirroring real life events every year, with the same old venues was the way to go.
There are after all other sites which will offer the 'real world' tour feel, so it's nice to offer up some alternatives.
