Leaderboard Information

Post  Dazmaniac on Wed Jun 17, 2009 11:14 pm

Anyone looking at the leaderboards since midnight will see a slight change and the inclusion of 'SR' in some players round scores.

To try and help players see what rounds have been received, without giving away in advance scores shot for latter rounds of the tournament, I'm trialling a small change where any advance rounds received will be shown as 'SR' for score received.

I don't want to change the current format of displaying the scores, where Rd2 scores are added from first Thursday, Rd3 scores from second Monday and Rd4 scores from second Friday, so at least we keep that 'tournament feel' and the final scores do not become apparent until more or less the last weekend. With this new update, at least players will be able to see which rounds have been submitted.

This also came about due to instances where players were re-submitting rounds I already had, thinking they might not have made it to me, as they weren't showing on the leaderboard for the latter rounds, due to the way I add the scores.

Hopefully this will help matters and allow everyone to see what rounds have been received.

Great idea and makes a lot of sense.

I think that's a very good idea and will make the tournament even more interesting to take part in bounce

Cheers Joe/Anders for the quick responses.

I also saw it as a way of not having to bombard folks with Twitter updates every 5 seconds, and can then use Twitter for more detailed ramblings during each event.

Slight update to Pro-Am Leaderboards

Post  Dazmaniac on Mon Jun 22, 2009 10:36 pm

In addition to my new 'SR' idea, on the Pro-Am leaderboards, now that players are creating their own partners with CPU no greater than 80 points, the figures shown in RED at the side of the pairings on the Pro-Am leaderboards is the CPU value used.

What is the FEC and OoM on the left on the leaderboards?

OoM Order of Merit I suppose, but which merits?

Kurt is correct.

FEC is the players current FedEx Cup ranking at the start of the current event (though I need to get the merit tables brought up to date, which I will endeavour to do this week).

After the completion of Event 23, the FedEx points will all be reset as IRL, and the top 20 will be eligible to score further points in the final event of the season - the Tour Championship at Wellington Point. Those outside the FedEx top 20 will still be able to participate in the Tour Championship, but will not be eligible for further FedEx Cup points. This applies to all 3 tours - Handicap, Pro Scr and Champ/Elite Scr.

OoM is the players current Order of Merit ranking at the start of the current event.
