Handicap Adjustments from Event 11 (Blue Desert Classic)
Just a note to say I am making a slight tweak to my handicapping system from the Blue Desert Classic.
The handicapping TAS calculation will remain in place as before, using only completed 4 round scores of net 25 over par or better.
The increments for handicap increase remain the same at 0.125 per shot under the TAS
The increments for handicap reduction will be adjusted to 0.04 per shot above the TAS, from the current 0.06. The 'ceiling' limit for reductions also remains at 25 over TAS, meaning the maximum reduction will then be 1.00 shot, instead of the current 1.50 shots. Anyone shooting more than 25 over TAS will be limited to the 1.00 reduction.
Not major changes, I'll agree, but only fair I keep members abreast of the changes, however small, lol.
Enjoy your golf.

A further slight tweak, will be that only completed 4 round scores of net 20 over par or better will be used to calculate the handicapping TAS from event 11 onwards. The maximum increase still remains at net 25 over par and anyone shooting a 4 round score of net 25 over par worse receives the maximum 1.00 shot handicap reduction.
