Who is this Debbie Driver????
This chick killed me at Black Rose!!! Not only is she a weak driver (won't go for the par 5's either - when left within 3 wood range), but she stunk up the course every time I put her witin 14 feet of the pin and at least 4 times within 7 feet. I could have done better with Charlie Chip or either of the other guys!!! For crying out loud even Jesper Parnevick! Aww such is life - I guess. It was still a lot of fun though ..... a nice challenging course!

Aye, I don't think she's Joergen's favourite female of the moment either, lol.
Now that Penny Putt seems a popular girl. Not she what she has, or does that Debbie doesn't, lol.

She is a demon with the flatstick. Overall she works out OK, usually fairly steady off the tee. She does occasionally dump an easy iron shot into a bunker
, and if you happen to put her remotely behind a tree - even if it's 50 yards ahead with plenty of room to skirt by it - she will turn around and play about 50 yards BACKWARDS!
Maybe that's a common trait to any AI player, but it drives me crazy!! Haven't tried any of the other Pro-Am AI's, usually because putting is the worst part of my game...

I know, I know, it's my fault for putting her in that position in the first place -- so to speak...

I agree totally with everything you say including the backwards thing. I couldnt believe she did that to me a few weeks ago. I put it in the rough off the tee on a par 5 and for some unexplicable reason she turns around and whacks it 100 yards back towards the tee. There was nothing in the way to simply play a 5 iron forward down the fairway. Maybe there was a tree I couldnt see. It makes it that much more important to keep it in the short stuff with her.

Re: Who is this Debbie Driver????
Let me add that Penny Putt can't clear water every single time and you can't force her to layup either. That long par 5 at Candlestick, I hit 3 wood off the tee to keep it in the fairway. Bad move as we are 290 out and she pulls out the 3 wood with a severe right to left downhill lie and goes for it! Are you kidding me biotch! Not even close to getting over the lake. So I hit rehit thinking I'll get to hit next but she's the one up and she's going for it again!! By some miracle she clears it the second time. I think that bogey will cost me this week.

Re: Who is this Debbie Driver????
Ahhhh, the joys of playing with CPU players, lol.
As a heads up, after the next event (US Open) I will be bringing in a further change to the OT Pro-Am's that I was intending to do from next season, but I decided I couldn't wait that long, lol.
Basically, the event will remain exactly the same as it is now with one major exception. The CPU playing partner will be created and named by your good selves. I will be allocating a maximum number of points that can be used for the player (TBC) and you can allocate them to each of the areas as you see fit. You may make changes for each event but must not exceed the allocated total. Any scores received with a CPU player exceeding the specified amount will be disregarded.
I will be posting further details in the Noticeboard forum along with instructions how to create a CPU partner for those that are unsure. Event 12 (US Open) will also see the retiring of Debbie, Ivan, Charlie and Penny as CPU Pro-Am partners, so effectively if you want to play the Pro-Am's you will have to bring your own partner, lol.

Re: Who is this Debbie Driver????
That sounds like a good one Daz. Having played my 'real-life' golf at a time when my wife was also playing, we found ourselves playing in many mixed 'opens'. This format is very nostalgic for me until I complain to my wife that she doesn't look like any of the anis - her response to that is that is that none of the ani-makers could come up with a shape to match mine, or my swing
- lol. I look forward to shaping my partner, but will miss Penny.
