Hopefully this stay will last longer than with the previous board hosts. I had intended moving sooner, but was still trying to get some responses from the support boards, which were not forthcoming due to the change of ownership, and from what other folks were saying it seemed a good time to jump ship and find a new host.

The new guys - Forumotion - seem at least to have an active support community and many more Mod's always on hand to assist.

Daz, for info, I was able to access and read the posts on the forum before I registered so I'm not sure if the 'private' part is working as (presumably) intended.

Thanks for the concern. I've actually set the access for guests/unregistered users to be able to view/read forums in the 'Members' section but they cannot make any posts until they are registered.

OK, I know I'm a capricorn..........and getting old.........Oh well, maybe you're right.

Hmmmph...judging by the avatars I suppose I could have said "beautiful young women", but that seems obscene to me. Comments about "ancient pervert's" also filter through, but alas I think Arsam might take exception to those thoughts so I let them go...

And then of course I obviously need to work on my caustic reparte in order to keep up with you guys!

Quite right Fred, yes, Vivien Leigh. Even beauty like that has it's downside though as apparently she could be hell to live with and was almost the death of Laurence Olivier.
